Campaign Contributions

Online Donations are collected through Pay Pal. To contribute click on the "Donate" button below. Donations can be made by any major credit card. Clicking on the "Donate" button will take you to the PayPal website. The page will be titled "Eastman For Democracy". You will be prompted for an amount you wish to contribute. It can be any amount up to the legal limit of $2500. Any amount will make a difference. If you have not used PayPal before, you will be asked for a credit card number, a mailing address, an email address and a new PayPal password. On the next page be sure to include your address in the "Ship to" section. It is important that we have that information on file. Thank you for considering helping out in this important way.

Ohio's $50 Tax Credit

You can financially support John Eastman For Secretary of State at no cost to yourself. Ohio has a unique campaign finance law that allows contributors to candidates for state offices to claim a tax credit on their Ohio Income Taxes of up to $50 per Ohio taxpayer ($100 for married filing jointly) per calendar year. You claim the credit by completing the line, "Ohio Political Contributions Credit," on Form IT-1040 (the back side of the long form) and subtracting the total credit from the amount of Ohio Tax. This means that a $50 contribution to "JohnEastman.org" is 100% refunded to you when you file your Ohio Income Tax Return using the long form.

Campaign Fundraising Guidelines

• A contribution may be in the form of cash, credit card, debit card or a check made payable to "JohnEastman.org" and mailed to PO Box 751912, Centerville, OH 45458."
• An individual may contribute up to $2,500 to JohnEastman.org per election period.
• A contributor may not give more than $100 in cash per election period. "Cash" includes only currency or coin.
• For record keeping, we are required to keep on file the name, address and amount donated for each contributor regardless of amount.
• For a contribution over $100, the campaign committee must report the name of a contributor's current employer or, if self-employed, his or her specific occupation.
• Contributions from corporations and labor organizations are forbidden.
